Topic Originality
State in what way the chosen topic area is unexplored territory
There is little point in looking for gold where everyone else has already looked, unless you have a new angle or focus. On the other hand if you look where no-one ever looks, you may be wasting your time. In the introduction at some point make clear both how much others have looked at your topic (which establishes relevance, as if many look here it must be important somehow) and also how you are looking in a new area (which establishes originality). For example, you may be repeating a previously done important study but doing so in a new country, like New Zealand.
